Stafford Speedway
Race-night brand.
Pit-lane software.
Stafford Motor Speedway, one of the most respected short tracks in the US, came to TIB Digital to modernise an outdated brand. We rebuilt the front-end website on WordPress — and partnered with the track's founder on an innovative startup idea: a web application that lets drivers, tire sellers, and officials scan and process tires far more efficiently.

A legendary short track with an outdated brand — and a tire process that was holding race night back.
Stafford Motor Speedway is a NASCAR-sanctioned half-mile oval in Stafford Springs, Connecticut, racing Friday nights from April through October across divisions including SK Modified, SK Light Modified, Late Model, Limited Late Model, and Street Stock — home to events like the Spring Sizzler and the NAPA Fall Final. It's one of the most respected short tracks in the country, but its brand and website hadn't kept pace.
Behind the scenes there was a bigger problem. Tire rules are central to fair competition at Stafford, and processing tires — registering, scanning, and verifying them across drivers, tire sellers, and officials — was a troublesome, largely manual part of every race weekend. The track's founder had an idea for a startup to fix it. TIB was brought in to design that software, and ended up rebuilding the website along the way.

Bringing a historic track's brand up to race speed.
Stafford approached us to modernise an outdated brand. We refreshed the visual language for the digital era — bolder typography, a sharper colour system, and a layout approach that puts cars, drivers, and race-night energy front and centre — while respecting decades of history that fans and competitors care deeply about, from the "50 Greatest Modified Drivers" to today's championship battles.

One site for fans, competitors, and partners.
We redesigned and rebuilt the front-end website on WordPress around the three audiences a race track actually has. Fans get the schedule, guest guide, tickets, store, and results up front. Competitors get a dedicated hub for division rules, tire rules, handicaps, payouts, penalty notices, lap-time archives, and registration forms. Partners get a clear place to see the value of being associated with the track. And the Stafford team can update results and news themselves every race week.

Turning a race-weekend headache into a scan.
Working directly with Stafford's founder on his startup idea, we designed and developed a web application that lets drivers, tire sellers, and officials scan and process tires far more efficiently. Every tire can be registered, tracked, and verified against the rules in one system — so drivers spend less time in line, sellers have clean records, and officials can enforce tire rules with confidence instead of clipboards.
Seller registers tires
Tire sellers log and assign tires to drivers in the app.

Driver scans & manages
Drivers log in, scan their tires, and see their allocation at a glance.

Official verifies
Officials scan to check tires against rules and handicaps — fast and accurate.

Scan-based processing
Fast tire scanning replaces manual logging, cutting processing time on race day.
Driver portal
A dedicated driver login to view and manage tire allocations — no paperwork.
Tire seller tools
Sellers record sales and assignments in one place, with a clean audit trail.
Official verification
Officials confirm legal tires on the spot and enforce tire rules consistently.
Rules & handicaps
Tire rules and handicap values tied into the system so everyone works from the same data.
Works trackside
A responsive web app built for phones and tablets in the pits, not just desktops.

A modern track brand — and software built to fix a real problem.
Stafford Speedway now has a brand and website that match its reputation, and a tires web application that has made processing tires faster and more reliable for drivers, sellers, and officials alike. What started as a software project became a full digital refresh — delivered to tight deadlines, with an ongoing partnership still running.
What client say.
We initially reached out to the team at TIB Digital to help us design software to improve a troublesome and challenging part of our business. In the design process we ended up redesigning our entire website and couldn't be happier with the results. Luke and the design team brought a new level of professionalism to our website while simultaneously working on the new software. After the design process the development team at TIB took over and wow, were we impressed. Jon, Sulay and the team made quick work of a challenging process and met all of our tight deadlines. We would recommend TIB Digital to anyone looking to improve their business and plan to continue to use them in the future.
