A beautiful idea — handcrafted, vegan kids' boots — needed a brand to match.
Dominic & Dempsey makes handcrafted, vegan, and sustainable children's footwear: 100% cruelty-free boots, never plastic, lined with cotton canvas, lightweight, flexible, and made through fair-trade production. They're designed to be worn season after season and city to city — "inspired by dazzling city life, built for nature."
With such a beautiful concept, the brand had to do it justice. Parents buying ethical kids' footwear expect premium quality and real values — and the brand needed to feel playful and adventurous for kids while looking sophisticated enough for the parents paying for it. That meant building everything from scratch: logo, identity, design system, packaging, marketing collateral, and an ecommerce site.

We crafted the Dominic & Dempsey brand from the ground up — starting with the logo and wordmark and building out a complete identity: colour palette, typography, illustration, and photography direction. The tone balances whimsy and sophistication: adventure-led and playful ("Adventure looks better in boots"), but refined and minimal enough to sit alongside premium children's brands. Sustainability isn't a badge stuck on the side; it's part of the story the brand tells.

We designed and built the Dominic & Dempsey website on Shopify — a storefront that leads with the product and the story. Product pages showcase each style, like the Petit Vagabond boot in Beige Sand and Red Earth, with clear sizing, materials, and care details parents need before they buy. Beyond the shop, the site includes the brand story, a blog, gift cards, an "Imperfects" section for discounted seconds, FAQs, shipping and returns, and a wholesale page for retail partners.
